Europeans learned a lot about the Iroquois, but the single greatest thing was teh United States Government. The United States government was modelled after the Iroquois League. The idea of fairness - democracy - partly came from he Iroquois.   The rights of the states were modelled after the rights of each tribe: Mohawk, Seneca, Cauyuge, Oneida, Onondaga and Tuscarora. Benjamin quoted on the Iroquois, of how these "ignorant savages" were in fact some of the most advanced people in government.
