Today they survive as we do, haveing a job, buying food from supermarjkets, etc.

Men were supposed to be the brave, going out to war, hunting deer and protecting their members of their family. Women were supposed to do household jobs, such as taking care of children,  making some crafts and preparing food. Children were often trained to do minor tasks. They were also trained to grow up and become adults.
